I can start us off with two -

I think I've mentioned the first one here before but the title cracks me up every time I think of it, so I thought I'd mention it again.

Can anyone here recommend some more book blogs or websites we might enjoy? I grew up reading Mary Stewart, Barbara Michaels, Phyllis Whitney, Victoria Holt/Phillippa Carr, Norah Lofts and others, and scoop them up at library sales and second hand stores whenever I can find them.

Here are some more:

Alas, the website is no longer in use, but if you Google:
Mysteryfile gothic
a website that lists many (not all) gothic romance novels is available.

Back in the late 70s-early 80s Candlelight put out some really good gothics by such authors as Anne Stuart, Margaret James, Janis Flores, etc.

Go to Fiction db (one of my favorite websites!)
Click on "series list" and "publishers list" - Find Candlelight Romance (CR)
click on Candlelight Romance to find a listing of all of their books.
Contemporary Gothic Romance writer Lisa Greer has the Gothicked blog where she mostly reviews old GR with the occasional movie or even Gothic horror review.
How about The Midnight Room for film, art, and fiction? I've gotten many good movie recommendations there.

And thanks for the recommendation of Gothicked. Smile
