Thank you, Desdemona. I haven't finished Jane Eyre yet, and I was hoping to start a new thread to discuss the themes of the books. I agree with a lot of what you said, but I'll get to that later. Of the three books, I would have to say my favorite is Jane Eyre. The feelings and actions in the book are much more memorable to me, even after all these years.
