Attention to detail?? - Bellatrix - 09-04-2008

Went up to local used bookstore, found some "new" novels by Alicia Grace. Unsure of author's real name; anyhow, I've enjoyed said author's works.

I'm looking for the year of publication (I always check, just out of curiosity) and I notice next to "1967" is "Anita Grace." ??

I checked cover again; did I misread the author's name?

Nope, it IS "Alicia Grace."

I see lots of strange little typos in these novels; in one, half a sentence was "lost." As for today's typo, I hope if I am ever published...they get my name right, on the cover AND inside! Tongue

Although I've run across many typos and other editing problems, I don't think that the author's name was an error. The name next to the date is probably her real name and the other is a pseudonym. I sometimes see one name on the cover and another on the title page and can't tell which is the real name and which is the pseudonym.

Hi. Smile IIRC, "Alicia Grace" was a pseudonym for a male author. But my memory might be faulty on this one.

::edit::

Went checking on Google:

Quote:ALICIA GRACE
- IRVING A. GREENFIELD [Real]
- RIVA CARLES
- ANITA GRACE
- GAIL ST. JOHN

So they mixed up his pseudonyms, lol! Well I guess that's understandable...sort of. Wink
