Lucy Malleson - paigenumber - 11-19-2019 I got on to some old movies on YouTube and discovered one called "My Name is Julia Ross". The beginning credits said it was adapted from the book "The Woman in Red" by Anthony Gilbert. Curious, I looked at my little resource book and found out that Anthony Gilbert was the pseudonym for Lucy Malleson, who apparently was a prolific writer, many of which were pseudo-Gothic, in that they were a cross-over from the detective story. I like those because they remind me of Mary Roberts Rinehart and Rae Foley. I need to find some of her books. Has anyone read any?
