(1) Aldourie in Inverness, Scotland on the shore of Loch Ness (what could be more Gothic??). Note: you can rent this place.
(2)–(5) Peleş, Romania, in the Carpathian Mountains between Transylvania and Wallachia (this may be my favorite castle on earth).
