One Way to Venice by Jane Aiken Hodge
#1
A "contemporary" gothic set in Venice. It was a little convoluted and overwrought in writing style, but was sufficiently suspenseful to keep my interest. It had the typical False Hero/Love Interest that kept me guessing who the protagonist would end up with, but the ending was satisfactory and fulfilling.

I have read several books set in Venice and, as a whole, I have enjoyed Jane Aiken Hodge books, but I'm not sure if I have read this one. I believe I do have a copy so hope to get to it. I have not been reading as much as I would like because my vision is getting weaker.
