re-reading books three or more times
#11
I do a fair amount of re-reading. When I want the "gothic experience" I am not always patient enough to test out a new author or title. I just want to be immersed in the tried and true type of story that I know I will enjoy. I have come across a considerable number of these that I have collected over the years and just like a child with a favorite storybook, I don't seem to tire of experiencing these stories once again. I welcome them as old friends!

I just started re-reading Victoria Holt. I love that they are "familiar" and remind me of what got me hooked on Gothics and reading in general.

And when I really need a fix, I just watch Dark Shadows.
