I write Gothic fiction, which is basically non-existent, unless you consider Anne Rice to be like, totally Gothic. No comment.
I tend to be very opinionated, so I'll try to be nice.

Welcome, Wkoenigsmann. I clicked on your weblink and found some of your writing and read the Song of Rusulka. It's very beautiful and Gothic with a capital G. Reminds me a bit of the shorter works of Tanith Lee. I'm a writer as well, not yet published. I'm also struggling through yet another Anne Rice novel. I try one about every five years, but I just don't "get" what she's doing. So far, on a scale of 1-10, I would give Blackwood Farm a 5, and that's merely for evocative imagery. Maybe we should start an Anne Rice subforum where we can let those opinions fly!
