Hello everyone! Thank you, members and admins, for this forum. How cool that we have a place where we can discuss gothic romances! I dig the genre, collect and read old examples, and wish we had more like them being published nowadays.

Here's a question for all of you. Why do you read gothics? Or to rephrase it: what is it about them that appeals to you?
