What happened?

Is it time to say R.I.P. to this forum? It has seemed pretty abandoned for some time.  Did Goodreads, Facebook, and other social media kill it off? It's too bad because this was the ideal place for fans of this genre to congregate and communicate, but perhaps the era of forums is over.

Are there any loyal members or lurkers who would like to make an attempt to revive this place?

I just found it a few weeks ago and try to check in every few days.
I've yet to see a similar group on Goodreads--what I've found tends to lean toward Gothic horror. Is there one?

Goodreads is (in my opinion) a mess, and can be enormously stressful to navigate with its cluttered screens and gazillion options.  This forum design is (in my opinion) perfect and was, at the height of its activity, a really fine place to discuss this genre with like-minded readers.
